The Mace library program offers the students and faculty an open access atmosphere that promotes inquiry, creativity, self-direction and ability to find and use information.
The College library is over 400 Sqm and has a seating capacity of 100 patrons at a time.
The MACE Library consists of over 12000 volumes of resources, such as, Books, Magazines, Newspapers, and Project reports, Dissertations, CD-ROMs and Internet etc.
The book collection, which included are: Prescribed course texts, course related supplementary books, reference books, fiction and non-fiction titles, and other books in general.
The Mace library is organized in such an efficient manner and is fully automated in a LAN environment with its services, such as, OPAC, Cataloguing and Classification, Circulation and Internet etc... DDC (Dewey decimal classification), AACR (Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules) and Sear's Subject list are followed for technical process of the library resources.
Smart cards are used for library transactions.

Circulation & Book Borrowing Privileges and Renewal
1. Faculty and all Teachers: 30 day loan; one renewal 7 book limit
2. Non-Faculty Staff (only for part-time students): 30 day loan; one renewal 3 book limit
3. Students: 10 day loan; two renewal 3 book limit
Borrowing Privileges for Reference Books & Magazines:
a. Reference books, Journals, project reports & Newspapers are IN-LIBRARY USE ONLY.
b. Overnight Issue (24 hour loan): One copy of each these materials may be borrowed for one day for all teachers, Students and it should be returned on the next day morning before class.
c. Classroom use: Reference materials may be borrowed for class room purpose and returned it promptly after class use.
Reservation & Recall
a. Patrons/users have right to reserve materials on first come first basis.
b. Reserve materials must be returned to the circulation desk from which they were borrowed.
c. Material may be recalled at any time if it is needed for library reserve.
d. Material may be recalled for use by another patron after it has been circulated to a borrower for 7 days.
e. Patron borrowing privileges will be suspended if recalls Notices are not honored within 7 days.
Library Class
Teachers should schedule the library period to bring students for library class/research/project work/check-in & check-out of books. A library schedule form is with the Librarians to reserve library periods in advance. No instananeous service is possible on short notice. Library class/ service is an intellectual collaboration between users and Librarian for finding appropriate curriculum assigned information in a professional manner at scheduled time.
Return Fines , Lost & Replacement costs:
a. All materials issued to borrowers may be returned on due date.
b. Fines are applied to borrowers who do not return books on due date.
c. The library borrower is responsible for the replacement cost of any item lost or Irreparably-damaged during Circulation.
d. Replacement prices are based on the actual current cost for the materials in the market plus,Overdue fines and Processing charges.
e. Extra fees/charges are added to the replacement cost.
Add in / out
Requests for adding / deleting new books / magazines should be forwarded to Librarian.
Request forms are avilable with librarian and fill in it appropriate information forward it to Librarian in hand or mailto:librarian@macev.org. Better copy this request form in your computer and mail at maailto:librarian@macev.org
Complaints & suggestions : Suggestions / Complaints are always welcome and forward it to Librarian in hand or the Principal.
ID CARD, Transfer of books and Use of Library: ID is mandatory for all library use and transactions.
No transfer or No subletting of Books after borrowing. Patrons may lose library privilege up on misuse of library rules.
A large number of Encyclopedias, Handbooks, Standards, Reports, Proceedings, Abstracts & Indexes, Data Books, standards, (National & International) are available in the Library.
Journals/Periodicals Section
Journals being the primary source of information are essential to supplement the research activities and are required regularly, Hence Library has good collections of Indian and foreign journals on various subjects of science & technology.

Electronic and Digital Database: Apart from high-speed internet access, the library subscribes, the Developing Network (DELNET) digital database which provides students and teachers easy and up-to-date information on Engineering, Technology, Science and other related subjects..
